Whether your goal is to learn to swim for the first time or to clock the fastest 400m sprint at the Track + Field National Championships, Chelsea Piers Fitness offers unparalleled coaching and training opportunities for athletes of all levels. No matter what you're interested in accomplishing, our vibrant communities of fitness-minded people will inspire you to reach your goals and more.

Small Group Training

Small Group Training at Chelsea Piers Fitness is designed for the member looking to take their skills to the next level in a specific modality. Bring your training into focus with a small group of 6-8 people at weekly pre-scheduled training sessions.

Swim Training

Whether you're brand new to the water or regularly swimming several thousand yards, the swim coaches at Chelsea Piers Fitness know how to get you there. Private, small group and Masters Swim team training available in all levels.

Triathlon Training

Our Chelsea location offers NYC’s most successful triathlon training program for athletes of all levels. As the only USA Triathlon Certified Training Center in the Northeast, Full Throttle is uniquely qualified to provide the most comprehensive tri training program in New York City. Interested in training in Stamford or Brooklyn? Our coaches can support you as well!


Depending on the location and the expertise of our coaches there, we have a number of training clubs available exclusively to our members. These clubs, ranging from outdoor run club to kettlebell club, meet several times per week.
