With facilities and programs for more than a dozen different sports, Chelsea Piers Fitness offers unsurpassed opportunities for switching up your workout, trying something new or discovering a new passion. Whether it's sport-specific training, cross-training, team play or recreation, our members are never bored! Basketball

Our Chelsea and Connecticut locations offer multiple full-sized, hardwood basketball courts for both pick-up games and individual shooting. Plus, with personal trainers available for basketball training and tailored conditioning programs, the indoor courts are a flexible workout and training space.

Boxing

Chelsea Piers Fitness offers a world-class boxing program led by highly skilled instructors with years of competitive and training experience. We offer boxing classes and programs, punching bag and speed training areas, and in Chelsea, a full-sized boxing ring.

Cycling

Who said you can’t find joy from a cycling class that pushes you past your fitness limits? Meet Breakaway. Build strength and power with an amazingly fun cardio workout that redefines what results-driven cycling is about. High-energy, expert instructors use motivational music and our Coach by Color system to deliver an incredible workout that both first time riders and seasoned cyclists can enjoy.

Rock Climbing

Our Chelsea location is home to one of the largest indoor rock climbing gyms in New York City and has one of the most challenging rock walls in the country. The main wall, bouldering wall and bouldering cave offer over 11,000 square feet of sculpted, three-dimensional climbing surface with numerous, and continually changing climbing routes.

Non-members may book a day pass and rock climbing session by calling 212.336.6083.

Running

Run on the ¼-mile indoor Mondo track at our Chelsea location, take a treadmill running class or work with a personal trainer. Chelsea Piers Fitness was designed with runners in mind.

Sand Volleyball

Dig in - our Chelsea location features NYC's only indoor sand court, available year-round for both volleyball pick-up games and unique cross training regimens.

Swimming

Swimming is at the heart of our community at Chelsea Piers Fitness. Our NYC and CT clubs offer swimming classes and training programs for every stage, from learn-to-swim to Masters Swim.

Squash

Our Connecticut location operates the region's premier facility for Squash training. Whether you are new to squash or a seasoned veteran, our experienced team will take your game to the next level.

Tennis

Tennis players of all levels enjoy world-class programming at our Connecticut facility. Up your game with our experienced and dynamic teaching staff + seasonal courts, group instruction/clinics, private lessons, competitive adult leagues, USTA team matches, open court rentals and Cardio Tennis.

Triathalon

Our Chelsea location offers NYC’s most successful triathlon training program for athletes of all levels. As the only USA Triathlon Certified Training Center in the Northeast, Full Throttle is uniquely qualified to provide the most comprehensive tri training program in New York City.
